Rotaplast Canada supported a mission to Adis Ababa, Ethiopia in October 2006 and provided services for 97 patients. 

Rotaplast Canada also supported a second mission to Ethiopia, this time in Bahir Dar, in November 2009.  This year, Christmas came early to 82 young Ethiopians with cleft lips, palates and burn contractions.  Twenty-nine medical and non-medical volunteers journeyed to Bahir Dar, Ethiopia to provide surgical treatment for these children.  Twenty-two of the team members were from Canada (15 from Kelowna); the rest from the US.  The mission was funded by several Okanagan Rotary clubs and many individual donors.  Our work in Bahir Dar was facilitated and supported by the local Rotarians and Rotaractors from Bahir Dar.  Below are some pictures from this medical mission.
